Biography

Short bio

ZONATEK is the Michigan-based melodic techno and progressive trance project of Ethan Kunis. Dark atmospheres and emotional melodies share a home with I’M GOOD, a men’s mental health awareness initiative encouraging honest conversation, connection, and rebuilding.

ZONATEK brings melodic techno and progressive trance together with a cinematic visual identity. Hypnotic repetition, patient tension, and emotional release shape the creative direction.

Behind the name is Ethan Kunis, an Israeli-born producer based in Michigan. His story includes work, fatherhood, divorce, addiction, and recovery. Those experiences give the project its human center without reducing the music to a biography.

Alongside a catalogue of around ten finished tracks, ZONATEK is home to I’M GOOD | Men’s Mental Health Awareness. The initiative encourages men to speak honestly and seek connection and support. The artist’s next ambition is to bring the music and that intention to live audiences.
