A sound with a human center.

The person behind the name
ZONATEK is the artist project of Ethan Kunis, an Israeli-born producer based in Michigan. His life includes running a service business, raising a family, and rebuilding through difficult chapters. Music is the creative ambition he wants to bring into the world.
The sound lives between melodic techno and progressive trance: hypnotic movement, emotional melodies, and a cinematic sense of tension and release. The aim is to make music that holds your attention and gives you something to feel.
A catalogue of around ten finished tracks marks the beginning. Performing live is the next ambition—bringing those recordings out of the studio and into a shared experience.

Hypnosis
Repetition with direction. A groove that creates space for the melody and keeps the journey moving.
Emotion
Melody is the point of connection: something that can carry weight without requiring an explanation.
Release
Patient builds and contrast give the music its arc. The destination matters because of the journey toward it.
The music and the mission
I’M GOOD is central to the identity. It makes space for the conversations that can feel hardest to start.
Recovery, divorce, fatherhood, responsibility, and resilience belong to the project’s human background. The initiative invites honesty and connection without asking anyone to share more than they want to.
It is an awareness initiative, with writing and links to professional support. There is no expectation that a song can replace care.
